We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a working standard. In practice that means text meets contrast requirements at body size including over photography, every interactive element has a visible focus state, the menu overlay and the booking panel trap focus and return it on close, the site works with a keyboard alone, and all motion respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system.

Every link in the main menu is present in the page source rather than injected by JavaScript, so screen readers and assistive tools reach the whole site. The site works with JavaScript disabled: Book Now becomes a link to the booking page, and the footer venue selector is a plain form.

Our venues

Access differs by site because most are in older buildings. What is true at each:

• Elements Bar and Grill Walsh Bay. Step-free entry from Hickson Road, accessible bathroom on the dining level, lift access to the pier.
• Elements Bar and Grill Pyrmont. Level entry from Harris Street, accessible bathroom, no internal stairs to the main dining room.
• Elements Brasserie Belmore. Step-free entry, accessible bathroom, level access to the Garden Room.
• Schniti Haberfield. Level entry from Ramsay Street, accessible bathroom, terrace reached by a ramp.
• Elements Smokehouse Darlinghurst. One shallow step at the entry with a portable ramp on request, accessible bathroom on the ground floor.
• The Bayview Walsh Bay. Step-free from Hickson Road to the room, accessible bathrooms, lift to the pier level.

Telling us what you need

Note it in your booking or your enquiry rather than on arrival. Wheelchair access, a seat near the door, an assistance animal, large print menus: all of it is easier to arrange in advance and none of it is a problem. Tables are allocated on the day, so telling us what you need beforehand is what lets the venue seat you well.
