Good to know

Frequently asked

Which venue is the dedicated wedding venue?

The Bayview at Walsh Bay. It is a single waterfront room on Pier 8/9 that takes one event at a time, and the room is set to your guest list rather than to a fixed floor plan.

Can we hold the ceremony and the reception in one place?

Yes at Walsh Bay, where the boardwalk works as a ceremony space a few steps from the room, and at Belmore, where the Garden Room does the same job.

Which wedding venue suits a smaller budget?

Belmore. Full venue hire there takes 180 seated or 350 standing and includes the Garden Room, and a coordinator quotes it for your date.

Do you host more than one wedding a day?

Not at The Bayview. One event at a time is the point of that room. Full venue hire at the other venues is also exclusive by definition.

Is there a wet weather plan for the ceremony?

Yes at every wedding venue. The ceremony moves inside and the room is reset during canapes. It is agreed in the run sheet rather than decided on the day.

How far ahead should we book a wedding?

Three to six months for most dates, and longer for a Saturday between October and March at Walsh Bay.
