Looking for a private dining room in Sydney? Dine with Elements has the Whiskey Room at Pyrmont seating twenty and the Garden Room at Belmore seating seventy.
Table, group, private dining or venue hire
One question separates all four: how much of the restaurant comes out of general trade? Nothing, a table or an area, a room with a door, or the entire floor. Everything else follows from that.

Frequently asked
What is the difference between private dining and a group booking?
Private dining is a dedicated function space kept for your group alone, and there are two of them, the Whiskey Room at Pyrmont and the Garden Room at Belmore. A group booking is a long table in the working restaurant, indoor or outdoor, held for your group while the restaurant trades around you. An area takes more guests; a room is more private.
Which private room has the best view?
The Whiskey Room at Pyrmont, which opens onto the courtyard on the Johnstons Bay foreshore. The Garden Room at Belmore has no view at all and is still the most requested space in the group.
Is there a minimum spend on a private room?
Yes. A coordinator prices it for your room and your date.
Can we have a private room for a business lunch?
The Whiskey Room at Pyrmont is the room the group books most often for it, seating 20 with a screen, HDMI and a private waiter. The minimum spend is confirmed on enquiry.
Do private rooms have their own bar?
The Whiskey Room at Pyrmont is served from the main bar by a dedicated waiter, which in a room of nineteen is quicker anyway.
Can we bring our own cake?
Yes, at every venue. Cake service covers plates, cutlery and cutting. Cakeage is $4 per person for a group of up to 15, or $60 per cake for 16 and over.
