Can I make a table booking at The Bayview?
No. The Bayview is an events and functions room with no table service, so it takes enquiries rather than bookings. For a restaurant table rather than an event, see Elements Bar and Grill Walsh Bay.
How many guests does The Bayview hold?
The room is set to the event rather than to a fixed floor plan. Put your number and your date on the enquiry form and a coordinator will confirm it.
Can we have the ceremony and the reception in the same place?
Yes. The boardwalk outside works as a ceremony space and the room behind it as the reception, about thirty steps apart. Wet weather moves the ceremony inside.
Does The Bayview host more than one event a day?
No. One event at a time is the point of the room. Nobody else is in the building.
Is there bridal car access?
Yes, drop-off is directly at the Hickson Road entrance, and there is step-free access from there to the room.
What if our wedding is a smaller one?
A smaller reception or a rehearsal dinner runs as a group booking, or the Garden Room at Belmore takes it as a private room. We will tell you that rather than sell you a room that is too big.
