Terms and conditions

By making a reservation with Elements Dining Group you agree to the terms below. They apply across every venue in the group.

1. Reservations and seating

We do not allocate or designate specific tables prior to arrival.
Seating requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.
There may occasionally be a short delay in preparing your table.
Bookings are held for a maximum of 1.5 hours for groups of up to 7 guests, and 2 hours for groups of 8 and above.
Tables may be released if guests do not arrive within a reasonable period.

2. Group bookings

Bookings of 10 guests and above generally require a group dining set menu.
Alternative dining arrangements may be considered at the discretion of management.
Guest numbers may be increased or decreased up to 48 hours before the reservation.
Late amendments may incur charges.
Reductions within 48 hours may still be charged on the confirmed numbers.

3. Pre-orders, wagyu and dietary requirements

Selected menu items may be available for pre-order.
Pre-orders require a deposit or prepayment.
Changes within 48 hours may not be accepted.
Final quantities must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the reservation.

3.1 Premium wagyu and specialty cuts

Premium wagyu products may require prepayment.
Guests may be contacted to confirm cooking preferences.
Changes within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of deposits.
Availability is subject to stock and supplier availability.
Management may substitute products of similar quality where necessary.

3.2 Dietary requirements and allergies

Guests must advise allergies and dietary requirements before visiting.
An allergen free environment cannot be guaranteed.
The venue accepts no responsibility where requirements were not disclosed beforehand.

4. Cakeage

Guests are welcome to bring their own cake.
$4 per person applies for groups of up to 15 guests.
$60 per cake applies for groups of 16 guests and above.

5. Billing and payment

Deposits and prepayments are deducted from the final bill.
Split bills may not be available for large groups.
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 48 hours before the reservation.

5.1 Deposits and prepayments

Minimum deposits may apply for set menus and pre-orders.
Deposits may be retained for cancellations within 48 hours.
Management may cancel reservations where payment conditions are not met.

5.2 Credit card authorisation and cancellations

Bookings of 6 guests and above may require credit card authorisation.
Cancellation fees may apply within 48 hours.
No-shows may incur cancellation charges.
Public holidays may require authorisation for all booking sizes.

6. Public holidays and special event days

A 15% public holiday surcharge applies.
Credit card authorisation is required on selected dates.

6.1 Public holidays

New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, the Easter weekend, Anzac Day, King’s Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

6.2 Special event days

Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Melbourne Cup.

7. Promotions and vouchers

Promotions are generally limited to bookings of up to 6 guests.
Offers cannot be combined.
Promotions are not valid on public holidays or special event days.

8. Ticketed events

Ticket purchases are generally non-refundable.
Tickets cannot be cancelled or transferred unless approved.
Failure to attend is treated as a no-show.
Event details may change without notice.

9. Photography and marketing

Photography and videography may take place within the venue.
Images and footage may be used for promotional purposes.
Guests may advise management if they do not wish to appear.

10. Responsible service and venue conduct

Management may refuse entry or service.
Alcohol service is subject to RSA legislation. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under 18, and staff may require photo identification.
Guests may be asked to leave where behaviour affects others.

11. Damage to venue property

The booking holder accepts responsibility for damage caused by themselves or their guests.
Repair or replacement costs may be charged.

12. Force majeure

The venue is not responsible for disruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

13. Management rights

Management may amend menus, pricing and policies without notice.
Management may decline, modify or cancel bookings where necessary.
Guests acknowledge and agree to these terms when making a reservation.

14. Functions and events

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or hold a date. A date is held only when a coordinator confirms it in writing and any required deposit is paid.
Capacities, minimum spends and prices published on this site are indicative and are confirmed in your written proposal.

15. Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for three years from purchase and are redeemable at any Elements venue.
They are not redeemable for cash and are not replaced if lost or stolen, unless the card can be identified in our records.

16. This website

dinewithelements.com.au is operated by Elements Dining Group. Using the site means you accept these terms.
This site does not take table bookings. Book Now routes you to the relevant venue’s own booking system, which has its own terms, and any booking you make is with that venue.
Prices, menus, deals and opening hours change. We update this site regularly but do not guarantee that every figure is current at the moment you read it.
Text, photography, logos and design on this site belong to Elements Dining Group or are used with permission. You may link to the site. You may not reproduce substantial parts of it without written consent.
This site links to the venue websites and to third party booking systems and map services. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of those sites.

17. Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
